Wouldn't it be cool if the module building tool had built in PDF/OCR functionality and a configurable parsing ruleset? A way for you to take, for example, a pdf with an oddly labeled monster box and a configurable tool saying "this section belongs here, this entry is that, etc.".

I'm confused as to what the idea actually is. Are you suggesting reading out of a PDF? Or are you suggesting a "light" version which builds XML so you don't have to have the full FG open to do it?

I'd love to have a utility (probably in-game) where I can open a saved module, add/remove items, and save the module again. This would be my minimum request. And go ahead and prevent it from working on read-only modules. But for my own modules, this would be a TIME SAVER.
