Transparent grid

The option to make the grid transparent would be great, especially for maps already containing a grid.

Map - hiding the grid

Some images/tiles that you can find already have a grid actually drawn on the map. In order to use these, you have to set your grid "just right", otherwise it is really distracting.

If you have a map where the resolution isn't "perfect" then you can have the grid perfectly lined up in one section but it grows ever more unaligned as you move across the map

It would still be perfectly functional if the grid layer could be hidden, but it was still in effect. This way token scaling would work and you won't have a distracting second set of "just slightly off" lines covering everything.

It would also help to have Savage Worlds game "without" grids, but having it so we can measure distance.

The Map Align Tool is great - but some of us would like a Transparency setting (0% - 100%) for the grid; just because "you" play with a grid doesn't mean we all want too...

Also for overland travel on large maps it would be nice to use the measurement functions without having a grid. I've found hex grids can be pretty hard to line up. Having the grid is great for token scale and movement, but it really gets in the way sometimes.
